Resources
Developed by The Sloan Work and Family Research Network.
Created in 1997, the Alfred P. Sloan Work and Family Research Network is the premier online destination for information about work and family. The Network serves a global community interested in work and family research by providing resources and building knowledge. Current, credible, and comprehensive, the Network targets the information needs of academics and researchers, workplace practitioners, state public policy makers, and interested individuals. It’s the place to find high quality research and reports, easy-to-read summary sheets and briefs, as well as work and family topic pages—all in one location.
The Network can offer you:
- Multi-disciplinary, credible teaching resources and access to the world’s foremost academics and researchers
- Evidence-based information on cutting-edge workforce issues, talent management, and the impact of work and family issues on business outcomes
- Unbiased policy data about work and family trends, legislation, and statistics, without lobbying activities
The site contains over 9600 literature citations, a statistics database, fact sheets and other resources. Policy makers may find the Bills & Statutes Database and the Policy Briefing Series to be useful in their work. State profiles of work-family policy efforts in all 50 states are also available. Due to the generous funding of the Sloan Foundation, all resources are free of charge.
