White House Continues National Conversation on Workplace Flexibility

July 20, 2010

Today, Vice President Biden and the White House Middle Class Task Force hosted an event focused on protecting American families’ economic security by closing the gender wage gap – and ensuring working Americans have access to the flexibility they need to meet the demands of work while also fulfilling serious personal and caregiving responsibilities.

At the event, Valerie Jarrett announced the release of the White House’s Work-Flex Event Starter Kit, a resource designed to help businesses, local elected officials, community organizations and others organize events on workplace flexibility in communities across the country.

These events will continue and expand on the groundbreaking dialogue that came out of the White House Forum on Workplace Flexibility.
